Laxmi Pujan
By nature Goddess Laxmi remains with us temporally. She showers on us happiness and wealth. She is as bright as gold, possessing four hands and fair skin. Her hands possess lotus and ‘Varad Mudra’ and ‘Abhay Mudra’. A crown glorifies her head and she is dressed in beautiful clothes and accessories. The flower lotus is her seat.

The ritual of Laxmi Pujan was started by Vaikunthpati Sri Narayan. In the fight of lords and devils, the defeat of Indra made him deprived of his throne and wealth. At this time all the lords had to take shelter in mountains. At that time Brahmaji advised Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Indra to pray Goddess Laxmi. As a result of this prayer or Laxmi pujan, Indra regained all his wealth and throne.

Laxmi Pujan and Saraswati Pujan:
Where there is no speed, there is darkness and lack of knowledge and wealth. Speed is required to gain knowledge. In “Gayatri Hriday” the importance of Goddess Saraswati has been explained. It says that veda has originated from Goddess Saraswati. She is dressed in white clothes. She has lute in one hand and a book in the other hand. White color represents simplicity and salvation. Lute depicts that gaining knowledge contained in books is not enough. You should also have knowledge of other fields. Your knowledge increases through books and strings of lute produce the sound of devotion, faith and practice.

Every morning when you wake up, look at your right hand and recite the following mantra in your mind:

This Diwali invite Goddess Lakshmi to your home and life forever. Get an attuned, energised and specially procured Shree Yantra or Meruprusth Shree Yantra during auspicious Muhurats of Dhan Teras, Diwali and Bestu Baras. Institute them at your home or office. Regular worship of an authentic and worshipped Shree Yantra, the symbol of Goddess Lakshmi herself, brings happiness, prosperity and great luck.
