United Progressive Alliance may get untied from support

Introduction: The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) was formed soon after the 2004 general elections to the Lok Sabha. UPA is the ruling coalition of few political parties of in India. It is led by Indian National Congress with Ms. Sonia Gandhi as the Chairperson.

Ganesha, seated on his throne, foresees the future of the UPA government with his astrological binoculars.

Astrological Analysis:
In the UPA’s chart Ketu is placed in the Ascendant point in Swati and Moon in dual sign Gemini and in Ardhra Nakshtra shows the weak constitution of the organization and the conspiracies hatched by associates. The 12th house Lord in the 7th house with Rahu indicates wide differences in policies and strategies of allies. Sun in the 8th house signifies problems for the patron which in this case is the Congress. Sun-Pluto opposition indicates humiliation for the patron party.

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Saturday withdrew its support to the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government. The transiting Mars was debilitated on that day and was about to enter the sign Leo and heading towards transiting Saturn situated in the 11th house. The Saturn-Mars conjunction in Leo is in square with the natal Sun. So the patron party will continue to face humiliating conditions caused by none else but its allies. UPA is currently under the influence of Rahu-Venus-Saturn period and Saturn is in close conjunction with Mars and Moon of UPA chart.

Conclusion:
All these planetary influences indicate that several parties which have supported the UPA government will not find it suitable to continue their support in the coming months. Strong differences will come to the fore and the UPA may lose confidence of its close allies. UPA may have a new structure around May 2009. In case of fresh elections these associates will be critical and may oppose their patron party.
